Me, Myself, and I

Check out my sponsor post and giveaway over on Neely's blog today.  While you're there, enter to win a smattering (smattering? yes, smattering!) of some of my favorite things. xoxo

Thank you to Breanna at My Beautiful, Crazy Life for hosting this linky party.
Co-hosts:

1. What is your biggest phobia?
I'm a total chicken when it comes to things that fly: birds, bats, bugs, even butterflies.  Seriously.  Keep the bugs outta my house! Even the ones that don't fly like spiders.  But seriously, I'll let the dog poo on the floor before I'll walk him if I spot a bat outside at night.  Eww.  Stop. Moving on now...

2. If you could relive any day of your life, what would it be and why?
Who knows! Maybe today will be so great it will be my dream Groundhog Day.  One day that was really great was several years ago when I went to New Orleans.  My mom and I were able to fly on her company's corporate jet and arrived about 9:30am.  We checked in to our hotel then went to Bourbon Street to a bar.  My mom was an awesome character.  We had beignets and chickory coffee, shopped, walked along the Mississppi, then had the best dinner ever at Emeril's Delmonico.  After dinner, we went back to Bourbon Street for more drinks, listened to some great live music, and collected as many beads as we could.

3. If you could choose to stay a certain age forever, what age would it be?
Any age from high school through my early twenties was pretty great.  Fun and carefree.  There was a lot of drama in my early thirties - my mom and stepdad died, I went through a bad breakup (twice, actually), and I got laid off and started a new career.  Now, I wouldn't change those things in my past (not true - I wish my parents were still alive!) because they've made me who I am today.  Everytime I think I can choose an age, I remember something about that time that really wasn't all that perfect but I think I'll say 21.  I was in college and life was so easy and fun!

4. Which celebrity do you get mistaken for?
Um, none.  I've never been told I look like a celebrity.
Right?  No celebrity look alike here.
5. What songs are included on the soundtrack to your life?
"I Want It All" by Sharpay (HSM3)
"It's My Life" Bon Jovi
"Tik Tok" Ke$ha (KIDDING!!)
"Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep" Diana Krall
"Held" Natalie Grant
"I Didn't Know My Own Strength" Whitney Houston
"American Girl" Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers

  1. You are afraid of everything that flies & I'm afraid of everything that swims.

Oh & I think you look like Lisa Kudrow! (Phoebe Buffay from Friends!)

  2. In your picture on the side bar you remind me of Jen Lancaster but it’s probably the outfit. That is a compliment coming from me by the way!
